Author Visit
Orson Scott Card will be visiting Denton on Saturday, October 18th, 2008 to sign books and give a lecture on his work.

2007 Denton Reads author Julia "Butterfly" Hill visited Denton on Sunday, April 22 (Earth Day). She dedicated a tree at the Emily Fowler Library, and discussed her book The Legacy of Luna. She graciously held a question/answer session, signed copies of her book, and conversed with Denton residents. Several local groups held booths at the event, including the "What's Your Tree?" project, Denton Recycles, and Barnes and Noble.
